The main property has four bedrooms, three reception rooms and three bathrooms set over two floors, making it an ideal family home.
Look in any direction and you will be met by the most amazing mountain and countryside views that you can only have when living in Padarn Country Park.
. As soon as you turn onto the drive your breath is taken away by the magnificence of your surroundings. Continue along the half mile drive, through Padarn Country Park and you will arrive at the property.
Built in 1821, the original part of the building was used to house the shire horses of Dinorwic quarry. Extended and fully converted over the years it now remains the only unlisted property within the Heritage Site.
Through the main entrance and front porch and you enter the bespoke kitchen which of course has everything including the kitchen sink! Your eyes are drawn upwards to the double height ceiling and the designer light fitting hanging above you. Off the kitchen you find the utility with w.c.
You now have a choice of which direction to go, we will take the few steps down leading to the exceptionally large elegant dining area with doors opening onto the garden. Then another turn takes us into the living area with its French designer log burner, all the time being drawn to the wall of glass, push open the bi-folds onto the sun terrace to look beyond the well-stocked lake and gardens to the mountain range, Llyn Padarn, and on a clear day across to Anglesey and the Irish Sea.
Back inside we take the main staircase to the half landing, a choice again of which way to turn. One way leads to the family bathroom and two bedrooms, go the other way, passed the dressing room and you arrive in the master bedroom with its own fireplace, ensuite and double doors leading onto the balcony so you can take in the fresh mountain air and watch the sun sets.
Return to the kitchen and take the other door and you enter a sitting room, and up the second staircase to a double bedroom with shower room, an ideal guest suite.
Venture back outside and you when you can draw your eyes from the views, you will see the self-contained lodge, the double garage/office with a bathroom, single garage, a large barn, five stables and tack room and the wild mountain goats. The grounds are divided into seven paddocks, with woodland, meadows, the lake, a pond, ample parking and of course views galore.
Set with the World Hertitage site of Dinorwic, Padarn Country Park covers 8oo acres and includes Coed Dinorwig, an ancient Sessile Oak woodland, as well as the marvellous Vivian Quarry. Both Llyn Padarn, a glacially formed lake, and Coed Dinorwig are designated Sites of Special Scientific Interest. Nestled below is the busy village of Llanberis which is the gateway to the highest mountain range in Wales.
